How was everyone's yom tov? I hope you all had a safe, spiritual, and uplifting yom tov, wherever you were. We were in Parsippany, NJ for Yom Tov, and it was really beautiful. My kids especially loved it, they didn't want to go home. Ita thrived on the nonstop stimulation and on always having a cousin/friend around, and as soon as Tzvi saw the long hotel hallways and the elevator buttons, he was in Toddler Heaven. I put some photos below, nothing professional, but at least you can see us having a good time.

I have tons of studio news. First of all, we are remodeling! Yay! Hopefully by May/June, the studio will have a whole new look with tons of new toys for both me and you. Besides the remodeling, I ordered a motorized backdrop roller (finally), a stunning new gray/light blue canvas backdrop, some new props and a whole bunch of other stuff. So excited.

Secondly... who wants to come with me to Botanical Gardens on Sunday, May 31st? The park is so beautiful this time of year, I just HAVE to take advantage. So here's the plan... I will only go for the morning (I don't like the light in the afternoons), and I can only take a few families so it'll be on a first come, first serve basis. The session fee for the park is $250 and it includes 1 8x10, 4 (5x7) and 4 (4x6) - a $175 package value! AND - the prints will all be printed on Kodak's incrdible Metallic Paper! - If you've never seen this paper, think of color and then think of COLOR!!!!!!! It's simply eye-popping - and there's no extra charge. If you're interested, call me at 917-297-1415 or reply to this email.

Thirdly, I just wanted to mention something that I haven't gotten around to talking about. A lot of you call me to book appointments for those "itsy bitsy newborn photos", or "the Anne Geddes look-alike photos", or the "sleepy little baby on the scale" photos (to quote some of your descriptions!) And I want you to be aware that the ideal age for getting these shots is 6 DAYS OLD. Seriously. Older than that, believe it or not, the babies are just not as sleepy and it becomes difficulty to scrunch them up into the poses you and I both want. While I love taking photos of 3 week olds and 6 week olds, please know that I consider these infant shoots and not newborn. Just so you know.

Enjoy the photos below, and as always, I welcome your feedback!

The Boianjiu family was lucky to have their married children and grandchildren for Pesach, some that came from as far away as Columbis, Ohio! Of course, we had to do a grandchildren portrait..

Daughter Erica was thrilled with this family photo, now that they have a beautiful addition!

Aaah! My little niece is growing up! Don't know if you've met her yet. She's my husband's sister's little girl and besides for my Ita, the only other female grandchild for my in laws! Anyway, this is her photo shoot from last year - she was about 9 months...

And about 8 1/2 months before that....

And here we are at just about 2! (Isn't she yum?)

Remember meeting my nephews last month? Well, here's the fourth boy - Aaron. He just wowed us this year with one stunning photo after the next. If I could, I would have uploaded the whole album...

(And by the way- Aaron is the "famous" newborn on the scale on my website)

He just turned two and he is too gorgeous...

So much charm...

Thanks baby Aaron, it was a joy photographing you!

And finally, my newest nephew... baby Yonatan - he's only about 3 months old and such a delight! ( Especially for me, cuz I'm not getting up with him every two hours), but still...

He may look sleepy here, but over Yom Tov, Yonatan really thrived! He went from a sleepy infant to a pudgy, smiley happening babe! Our whole family took turns yumming him up.

I couldn't believe it - but I did it! I got all the Rand grandkids into the studio! This is what my in-laws wall collection is going to look like. Its stunning. We did a hexagon style shape - with 8 8x10 gallery wraps. My mother in law has wanted something like this for years and we're finally going to have it, Baruch Hashem.

Here are some photos from Pesach - here's Ita, all dressed up for Yom Tov...

I had to use lollies to get the two kids to sit together, and still, all we got was this... Aren't the coordinates cute?

And here's Tzvi all dressed up...

(Would you believe that only minutes later, he threw himself on the floor, screaming? No more photos!!)

Tzvi toddling around the hotel - taking ownership of everything.

Here we are bowling. That's my nephew, Huda, on the left.

All Tzvi wanted to do was push elevator buttons. I'm not even going to tell you what happened when one of the elevators opened and I wasn't fast enough to catch him...

He also liked the food. And ate a lot. And around 5 or 6 pounds later, so did we all.
