Hope you all had an enjoyable and safe Purim. I certainly did. It was so great to see all the creative and original ideas the different families had for their shalach manos. It seems that there are a lot of very talented, creative mothers out there who suppress their artistic side all year except for Purim, where they unleash it in the form of unbelievable costumes and mishloach manos. Every year I tell myself to write down a bunch of cute themes that I saw so that by the time next Purim rolls around, I'll have a whole list of ideas to choose from, and every year I forget to do this. I forgot this year, too. Oh well.
Anyway, thank you all, from the bottom of my heart, for your votes and efforts in the Oh Baby contest. I know what it means to take time, even a short time, out of your busy schedules for someone else and I truly appreciated it. We didn't win, but I definitely had a lot of fun competing and am looking forward to the next opportunity.
So many nice families this month, and lots of cuties as we head towards "Upsherin Season", so let's get right to the photos. I am away for Pesach, so we take appointments right up to the week before yom tov, and then we close through Pesach and re-open iy"H right afterwards.
This is Dovie, I photographed him as a baby, about two and a half years ago, (see below) and he came back to have his pre-upsherin portraits. I just love it when "my" babies come back and show me how big they are!
(Dovie at about 3 months!)
I am completely head over heels with this little boy's hair. It deserves to be photographed just on its own, even without a face. Maybe Mom you can save me a lock or two after you cut it?
Cute expression here. A big Mazal Tov to the Perlmutter family. May you have much nachas from Moishy!
Since my own Ita wears glasses, I love meeting other toddlers with glasses. Anyway, these only enhanced Moti's adorable personality and expressions!
We did some fun poses, too...
Mazal Tov Leightmans! You should have only nachas from this zees little boy!
The Levitts are old friends...Orly was in nursery school with Ita and let me tell you, its been a while since I've photographed such an adorable, photogenic family! Mom had dozens of ideas for the shoot and we managed to do a little bit of everything.
I don't often get such cute photos of two babies together, and I couldn't decide which one of these I liked better so I'm posting both...
I have to be honest, I don't think this young man was as excited about taking photos as his mother and I were...that's where it helps to be gorgeous...
Mazal Tov Greensteins! Much nachas, and please keep a piece of that hair!
My nephew Aharon turned three this month! I can't believe it, I remember doing his newborn shoot so clearly (see below) but he is just a terrific, spunky, easygoing three year old that was a pleasure to photograph and just happens to be gorgeous too...
(He was a little under two weeks old here...) And now back to the present:
We brought big brother Yehuda along for some matching portraits.
Hey and let's not forget the baby...
Another wonderful, photogenic month, thank G-d. Thanks for reading and as always, I welcome your comments!
