What an exciting month, as we headed towards the busy upsherin season. I had a couple of old favorites, some new faces, and my first outdoor session of the season. The weather is getting more beautiful every day and I'm excited to be spending a lot more time with my camera outdoors.
I splurged a little this month, new camera that I had my eye on for a while, and a bunch of new props. I'm also looking into a new line of backdrops and floors to incorporate a new look that I'm experimenting with. Hopefully, you'll see it soon. Its an exciting time.
Anyway, let's get straight to the pictures...
The Brauns are old friends. I did Chaim's upsherin two years ago... I think you can see some of his photos in the Boys section on my website. Now it was Aryeh's turn..
These two were adorable. We did the photo shoot after hours - about 7:30 I think it was - but these two showed no signs of fatigue... They did all the posing practically on their own.
Aryeh is full of spunk and charm but my favorite shots were these close ups... you can really see the expression in his eyes.
Chaim has only gotten more photogenic over the last two years...
I think I have to call this photo "Flying Blocks."
These are some of the wall collections we designed. We ended up going with a combo of the two. I also have a new product out called Float Wraps- they are a slimmer, thinner, (and cheaper) version of gallery wraps and they're great for collages. If you're doing a collection of photos for your wall, ask me about them when you're ordering.
Next came Yanky for his... you guessed it...pre-upsherin photos. We photographed his cousin, Sheale last month (see March) and his mother and I were really excited to do these.
Mom wanted to showcase his beautiful, blond hair and we definitely accomplished that!
Would you believe this kid was shy and quiet when he first arrived?
I love this photo... Mazal Tov Knobloch family!
Finally! We got outdoors! Mom was a little emotional at the prospect of cutting Hillel's hair and now I see why. His curls are gorgeous!
Mazal Tov to all my upsherin boys! Much nachas to your parents and families!
Have a happy and meaningful lag ba'omer and your prayers should all be answered quickly!
